- Replace Shopify’s Order History system with a custom one that queries STORIS for a customer’s order history by their email address.
- System should be aware of import timing issues with new Shopify orders and opt to show Shopify order data if not yet imported to STORIS, or if there is any STORIS-related query error.
Customer-Scheduled Delivery Dates
- Implement a custom Checkout UI Extension Shopify App.
- App allows a customer to select a delivery date for their order if their order is a delivery order.
- App interfaces STORIS 'calculateTaxAndDelivery' endpoint to retrieve dates.
- App stores selected date in Shopify Order attribute.
- Middleware revised to detect this date and inject automatically into STORIS.
- In the event STORIS API does not respond, or no dates are applied, the system will bypass and allow checkout. Admin will need to manually schedule.
