The first step to using Klaviyo is to access your dashboard. This is where all the tools you need to manage your marketing campaigns and track your results are domiciled.

However, you must create an account first to access your dashboard. So here is how to do it and get started with Klaviyo for headless ecommerce. 

  • Head over to the Klaviyo login page and fill out the form provided.

  • Provide your preferred login information, including your email address or username and password.

  • Provide your business information, including the company name and website. 

  • Provide your contact information to complete the form. 

Once you've filled in all the required fields with the right information, consent to the Klaviyo terms and conditions and sign up for the account to access your new Klaviyo dashboard. 

Next, you can choose your objectives and describe your ecommerce business to Klaviyo to help it deliver a more personalized experience.

Klaviyo has a user-friendly interface that should get you started even without much technical knowledge.

Here is the list of things you can do to regain access to your Klaviyo account when having login problems. 

  • Double-check the email address to ensure you're entering the correct information. Do the same with the password, as a small omission will render your login incorrect. Logins are case-sensitive, so make sure you include any capital letters where appropriate. 

  • Log into your account using a different web browser. Sometimes, the problem can be related to the browser you're using. If this is the case, login into the account from a different web browser should provide the needed workaround. 

  • Clear your current browser's cache memory and cookies. Web browsers store some of your recent browsing data in their cache memory to help speed up access when logging back in. Unfortunately, these data can sometimes cause conflicts, so clearing them should help eradicate the issue.

  • If everything fails, contact Klaviyo support for further assistance. This should be your last resort when having trouble with your Klaviyo login.

Earlier in this blog post, we said that Klaviyo has a robust free plan that includes exciting features that you only find on the paid plans of competing platforms like Mailchimp. 

While Klaviyo’s free plan is definitely enticing, its paid plans are the area of complaint for some customers who find them rather expensive. 

In spite of the relatively higher prices, Klaviyo offers some of the most robust features, making it an excellent choice for larger enterprises. You get what you pay for, and if you have a large business, you’ll find the pricing totally worth it. 

The platform allows you to unlock incremental growth and build customer relationships at scale, providing better ROI (return on investment) than any enterprise-grade email marketing solution on the market. 

That said, Klaviyo offers various pricing plans to cater to different business needs and sizes. Specifically, the platform currently has a free plan and three paid pricing plans for email and SMS marketing.

Klaviyo’s paid plans include custom pricing for their Customer Data Platform (CDP). 

Here's a breakdown of their pricing structure:

Klaviyo Pricing: Free Plan

This supports up to 250 active profiles (email addresses), making it ideal for startups and small businesses with less than 250 contacts.

It includes basic email marketing features like email builder, welcome series, and abandoned cart emails.

The free plan is limited to 500 emails per month, which should be plenty for a business that is just starting out in email marketing. 

Klaviyo Pricing: Email Plan

This plan starts at $20 per month for 251-500 contacts. It includes all the features available on the free plan, plus the following additions: A/B testing, segmentation, advanced reporting, and unlimited emails.

Klaviyo Pricing: Email and SMS Plans

This plan includes an email option charged at $20 per month for 251-500 active email profiles, increasing gradually with higher contact volumes.

It also includes an Email and SMS option charged at $35 per month for 251-500 active profiles, increasing gradually with higher contact volumes. This option gives you 100 SMS credits. 

Additionally, this plan has all email marketing features, including segmentation, automation, and basic reporting. You can also purchase more SMS marketing capabilities with additional credits. 

Klaviyo CDP Pricing 

This is Klaviyo’s custom pricing based on your specific needs and data volume. CDP plans start at $500 per month for 100,000 profiles.

The plan offers advanced features for data management, analysis, and personalization. It features built-in volume-based discounts. The plan is ideal for larger businesses with complex customer data needs.
